Job Description:

Acts as a company representative to the independent agency/broker force for Anchor products. Prospects, appoints, orients, and trains new agents and encourages existing agencies to increase writing and profitability for the company. Will handle staffed and non-staffed territories via phone, email, and skype. Representative will help manage prospects and may be asked to pre-screen producers for appointments. Once qualified professional agent prospects are appointed, representative will promote an integration plan and follow up system to ensure the success of each appointment. Provides continuing education and training to the producer and any staff, regarding Anchor products, programs, underwriting guidelines and pricing. Responsible for developing and maintaining partner relationships with a goal of maximizing profitable growth within each of our target product offerings and reporting results as assigned. The representative will develop a field marketing and sale plan by producer, territory, or state to support the company sales goals where necessary. Will conduct trainings via phone, webinar, or in person whenever possible. Will be responsible for entering vital data into Salesforce or current CRM. Will help produce and provide reports to our producers to help manage the Anchor book of business. Representative will classify producers according to business potential and allocates sales time to maximize potential. Will monitor growth toward company production goals. Participates in continuing education activities through related professional or college courses, online training, and attending other functions as assigned. May be called upon to travel in field on blitzes or in support of territories. Will assist other marketing staff and performs all other duties as assigned. Must have regular predictable attendance.

Experience and Skills:

Four-year (4) college degree (Business or Marketing preferred) or Two (2) or more years of outside sales/marketing experience. Personal lines experience preferred internal candidates may be considered if they have one (1) year of experience in a position during which they have made producer visits or worked closely with producers. Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of PC/software program including Microsoft Office. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish). Acceptable driving record.
