Job Description:

You will be responsible for managing, coordinating and making critical decisions adjusting first- and third-party auto claims. Reviews, investigates and evaluates coverage and liability of varying complexity and severity, and settles assigned claims within delegated settlement authority. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

A qualified candidate should possess the following: 1. Minimum of 3-4 years relevant auto claims experience. 2. Results driven with a proven track record of achievement. 3. Strong written and oral communication skills; interpersonal skills; computer skills with the ability to work with multi-faceted systems. 4. Ability to evaluate claims of up to moderate complexity, which would include using one's intellect to interpret policy provisions and apply the policy language to individual claim losses. 5. Ability to effectively and independently manage workload while exhibiting sound judgement. 6. Thoroughly familiar with Texas Property & Casualty insurance departments’ claims handling regulations. 7. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. 8. Non-Standard experience preferred. 9. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 10. Current Texas Adjuster Property & Casualty license. The applicant must have keen attention to detail, work well in a team-based environment, manage their caseload with limited supervision and must be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
